OUR FRAX SKIN RESURFACING
We treat with the Candela Frax Pro / Nordlys Frax platform, which offers two wavelengths:
- 1550 nm reaches deeper to improve texture, fine lines and acne scars.
- 1940 nm works closer to the surface to refine tone, pigmentation and brightness.
The laser treats a fraction of the skin in microscopic columns and leaves the tissue between them untouched. That gives the skin a quick path to healing and triggers new collagen production, which is why results build over a series of treatments rather than in a single visit.

What to expect at your appointment:

Treatment. You wear protective eye shields while the laser is passed over the area. Built-in cooling keeps you comfortable. A full face, including part of the neck, typically takes about 45–60 minutes.
Aftercare. We finish with a medicated balm to hydrate and support healing, and send you home with a care plan.

Downtime and results:

IS LASER SKIN RESURFACING SAFE?
When performed by a trained provider after a proper skin assessment, it is a well-established treatment. At your consultation we review your medical history and anything that could affect your results or healing, and explain the risks that apply to you.
How is Frax different from a CO₂ laser?
A traditional CO₂ laser removes the whole surface of the skin, which brings more dramatic change but also a longer recovery. Frax is fractional and non-ablative: it treats a portion of the skin at a time and leaves the rest intact, so healing is faster and more people can be treated. The trade-off is that it takes a series of sessions.
What is recovery like?
Most people have redness and tightness for a short period, then flaking as the skin renews. Avoid makeup until we tell you it is safe, keep your skin well moisturized, and stay out of the sun.
