MICRONEEDLING BOCA RATON FAQs

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is a treatment that uses very fine needles to create tiny, controlled micro-injuries in the skin. As the skin heals, it produces new collagen and elastin, which helps improve texture, firmness and the look of scars. We perform it with the SkinPen device.

What are exosomes?

AnteAGE exosomes are advanced skin care products that enhance the effectiveness of microneedling treatments. Exosomes are tiny, extracellular vesicles derived from stem cells that contain growth factors, proteins, and other signaling molecules essential for skin regeneration.

What does microneedling target?

Microneedling is commonly used to address fine lines and wrinkles, lack of elasticity, acne scarring, sun damage, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and dilated blood vessels. It can be performed on the face and body and is suitable for all skin types. Most clients get the best, longest-lasting results from a series of 3 to 6 treatments over about three months.

What should I expect during the treatment?

The treatment is performed under topical anesthesia and uses very fine needles that create tiny pin-pricks in the skin. Afterward, the skin appears flushed and may swell for a few days, similar to a moderate sunburn. Healing stimulates new skin cells and collagen and elastin production as part of the skin's natural regenerative process.

How soon will I see improvements?

Microneedling stimulates the body's own collagen production, and it takes time for this process to become visible. Clients should expect to see improvements within three to six weeks after each treatment, with the full effect achieved within a few months.

How many sessions are recommended?

To achieve maximum benefits from microneedling, we recommend a course of three to six treatments, spaced out in a minimum of 1 to 2 week intervals. Other options include one treatment per month or 6 treatments every 6 months.
